Bring Food and Beverages: Please pack cold food in small coolers, thanks. Personal Gear:clothing/rain gear/hat Bath, Hand and Kitchen towels Personal care items/medicine/extra glasses Sun glasses/sunblocker/small first aid kit Life jacket/sleeping bag/ pillow slip Handsoap/Dishsoap/Handiwipes Paper towels/toilet paper Ziploc Bags/Aluminum foil/garbage bags Fishing Gear: Rods/reels/rod tube Fillet Knife/sharpening stone Dip net/minnow bucket/stringer Fish towel for the boat/tackle box

IMPORTANT PACKING INFO: The weight limit for each person is 125#. This adds up much faster than people expect. Please be thoughtful with your packing - for example: no container should weigh more than 60#. Use two smaller boxes or two smaller coolers instead of one big one. All your gear has to be lifted up and onto a floatplane, and we want to make sure it will fit. Coolers shouldn't be any longer than 2 feet. We sure thank you. WHAT ABOUT……? Fishing Licenses - we have them at the base. Ice - We have a commerical icemaker--you can take ice from the Base and we will also make ice flights during the week. Bait - You can buy bait at the Bait Express on Highway 61 just after you cross the border or the Silver Minnow on Highway 527, or we can have bait for you - just let us know what you want. You can buy great frozen ciscoes at Buck's Conoco in Grand Marais. Boat Seats? Each boat has two mounted swivel seats. Each camp has a propane grill. Extras that might come in handy: Duct Tape/ needle nose pliers Small coil of rope Boat cushion Dry cell fish locater More Ziploc bags |
