Thunderhook is setup for comfort before the departure of your flight. The Thunderhook airbase offers a beautiful office complete with WiFi, big screen satellite TV, telephone, Thunderdog breakfast, and other features.
If it is your wish to spend the evening at our airbase prior to your flight out the next morning, you may want to rent one of rooms in our 6 unit bunkhouse. While you are eagerly awaiting your fly-in fishing trip you can visit in the screened-in gazebo or enjoy a barbecue on the grill!
Boats at Thunderhook are in exceptional condition. We chose the Lund models because of its suitability for outpost fishing trips.
This model is the perfect combination for our Yamaha & Mercury motors. These boats also handle very nicely on the big water when it’s rough. It is possible that our aging fishermen like these boats the best as they offer a split console walk-through center…gone are the days of climbing over all of the swivel-seats!
Our entire fleet of Yamaha & Mercury motors is updated annually to eliminate hassles and other hang-ups one could experience while on his or her fishing trip.
Guests at Thunderhook are provided with the finest seaplane air service. Guests relax and settle in the authentic Otter seaplane while our certified dockhands carefully load their luggage and belongings!
