I spent today driving to Armstrong (our airbase) to bring up the second load of supplies and office equipment. As of right now Mattice Lake is partially ice-free. The turbo otter, beaver, and 180 are sitting at the hangar ready to be brought North. I will be returning to the U.S. to get another load of supplies ready and start bringing the airplanes North on Monday. We are going to be flying the crew into Smoothrock Camp, Almos Bay and Funger Outposts on Monday afternoon. As of right now we believe (finger crossed and watching the forecast) that all parties will be able to get into these destinations. However, Shabuskwia Lake will be at least another 7-10 days. I will be updating Facebook, Twitter, and this blog from now throughout the fishing, hunting, and canoeing season.
